Company Profile

IndoFighter Corporation is India's leading aerospace and defence manufacturer, headquartered in Bengaluru with facilities across Nasik, Kanpur, Hyderabad and Pune.

Founded in 1963 as a joint venture between Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and the Indian Government's Defence Research and Development Organisation, IndoFighter has grown into an independent, privately-held aerospace powerhouse with annual revenues exceeding ₹45,000 crore.

The Corporation's product portfolio spans fifth-generation combat aircraft, unmanned aerial systems, business jets, aero-engines, avionics, and satellite subsystems. With over 28,000 employees, IndoFighter is the largest employer in India's aerospace sector.

Strategy

Our strategic vision is anchored in three pillars: indigenisation, innovation and internationalisation. We aim to achieve 90% indigenous content across all platforms by 2027 and to secure export orders from friendly nations across South-East Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Leadership

IndoFighter is led by a Board of Directors drawn from India's foremost aerospace engineers, defence scientists and financial professionals. The Chairman and Managing Director, Air Chief Marshal (Retd.) Surinder Kaul, PVSM, brings four decades of operational experience to the Corporation's strategic direction.

Innovation

Our Centre for Advanced Aerospace Research (CAAR) in Bengaluru employs 4,000 scientists and engineers dedicated to propulsion, stealth technologies, avionics, materials science, and artificial intelligence for aerospace applications.

Corporate Social Responsibility

IndoFighter's CSR programmes focus on STEM education in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, skill development for aerospace manufacturing, and environmental stewardship at our manufacturing sites.
