The Multi-Role family shares 70% commonality of airframe structure, powerplant, and avionics architecture across four variants, reducing logistics burden and training requirements for operators.
The primary export and domestic maritime patrol variant. In service with the Indian Coast Guard (12 aircraft), Sri Lanka Air Force (4), and Maldives National Defence Force (2).
Operated by the IAF (6 aircraft) with a further 6 on order. Provides wide-area air battle management across the subcontinent.
Configured to VVIP standards for head-of-state transport. Three aircraft operate with No. 109 Squadron, Palam, for Government of India VIP transport duties.
