Vajra — Exploit and Support
Mission data exploitation, intelligent health management and world-class logistic support keep the Vajra combat-ready.
IndoFighter's Product Support Organisation provides comprehensive lifecycle support to Vajra operators from our centres in Bengaluru, Nasik, and Jodhpur, and through our network of forward support teams embedded with operational squadrons.
Every Vajra is equipped with over 1,800 sensors monitoring airframe loads, engine parameters, avionics temperatures, and fuel system pressures in real time. Data is automatically downloaded after each sortie and processed by the IndoFighter Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) system to generate predictive maintenance alerts, reducing unscheduled removals by 60% compared to comparable platforms.
Post-sortie data from the Vajra's solid-state mission recorder is processed by the Tactical Information Exploitation System (TIES) at squadron level. Sensor replays, weapons effectiveness assessments, and tactical debrief support are available within 30 minutes of landing. Integration with DRDO's AI-enabled Battle Damage Assessment system is planned for 2025.
IndoFighter operates two full-mission simulators at Suryalanka Air Force Station and one at INS Hansa for the naval Vajra NV. Each simulator replicates the cockpit to a fidelity that allows currency maintenance for all mission profiles including carrier operations, night vision, and electronic warfare — greatly reducing the flying hours required to maintain pilot proficiency.
